Watershed have teamed up with Borders bookstore on Queens Road, Bristol, to enable Watershed customers with valid cinema tickets to get 10% off selected Borders goods.

The idea is that selected films from the Watershed programme will be included within the offer and to obtain the discount, all you have to do Is keep your ticket after a show then present it at Borders.

For example, this month if you watch Azur and Asmar: The Princes’ Quest at Watershed (Fri 21 – Mon 24 March) you can get 10% off any children’s fairytale or mythology book in Borders on Queens Road. Not bad eh?

Next month it’s Persepolis getting the discount treatment and after watching the film you can get 10% off the graphic novel of the same name by Marjane Satrapi at Borders.

Anything that encourages people to read is good in my book, no pun intended. Well maybe a little.
