Festival Preview - The Bristol Festival of Nature 2008
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th June 2008 @ Harbourside, Bristol
Held over the weekend of 7th/8th June at Bristol Harbourside, The Bristol Festival of Nature is a celebration of wildlife film and music. Things all get kicked off on Friday 6th June though at St George’s with an evening of wildlife screenings from the 1960s to the present day accompanied by a live music from the Emerald Ensemble; Bristol’s professional chamber orchestra.
The Bristol Festival of Nature 2008 is the 5th such event and is now the UK’s biggest celebration of the natural world. Expect films, animal encounters, exhibitions, talks, workshops and competitions for all ages all in the heart of a city which is renowned for its natural history filmmaking and connection to the environment.
Tickets are available now for the evening at St George’s through the venue but the main event at Bristol Harbourside is free all weekend.
