For 2009, Suit Yourself Magazine is undergoing a significant transformation into a fantastic new format that we are really looking forward to. As times move forward, so does Bristol’s favourite independent magazine and so for the new year, Suit Yourself Magazine is becoming a quarterly publication (every three months), twice as thick and with twice as many printed!

That’s twice the fantastic, funny, in-depth and independent articles written by the people of Bristol, for the people of Bristol. This thicker format gives us more space than we know what to do with and it creates so many potential opportunities - more articles, more in-depth features, more cartoons, more competitions, more illustrations and more full-page photos. That’s along with being altogether a far less disposable product and one which you can dip and in and out of during the entire three month period. A bigger, longer magazine opens so many doors and has fantastic potential for SY to really become something special for Bristol.

Suit Yourself Magazine will remain in exactly the same style, the same ‘voice’ and cover the exact same sorts of Bristol specific articles we have become renown and loved for. We are not changing who we are or what we do, we are simply adapting the format in which we present ourselves.

One drawback of the magazine become quarterly is that it will be difficult to talk about all of the amazing events that Bristol hosts and so we’re proud to announce the creation of Suit Yourself Magazine’s sister publication – SY On The Sly.

It’s an exciting challenge and a thrilling new direction for Suit Yourself Magazine to go in and we hope you’re licking your lips at the prospect of it all as much as we are!
