Stage Preview - Bristol Ferment
Wednesday 20th until Saturday 30th January 2010 @ Bristol Old Vic, Bristol
Bristol Ferment is a new venture from the all-new Bristol Old Vic team; a mini explosion of new ideas and works-in-progress. Over the next 2 weeks writers, puppeteers, actors, dancers, musicians and poets from Bristol and beyond will all be informally showcasing brand new works in every nook and cranny of the Bristol Old Vic, giving the shows they are working on a public airing for the very first time. It is a fantastic opportunity for theatre lovers in Bristol to get involved and sample some of these new projects and an equally important opportunity for the theatre producers to test their stuff on an audience, see what’s working, what isn’t and discuss how the ideas can move forward.

Some of the projects being showcased have been in development for a while and for others the ink is still wet, but all of them are at the beginnings of an exciting journey and you can part of the process in helping them grow. Check the Bristol Ferment calendar over the next 2 weeks to see everything they have on offer and revel in new works by fantastic local talents like Tom Wainwright, Toby Hulse, Craig Edwards, Ed Rapley, Adam Peck and Kneehigh’s Tristan Sturrock.
