Sunday April 5th 2009 @ Academy, Bristol

The long awaited return of Starsailor in 2009 is heralded by their new album All The Plans. Starsailor’s UK tour will thunder into Bristol’s Academy in April and let’s face it, this city has been Starsailorless for far too long! I saw this band live for the first time at their jaw dropping headline performance at Newquay’s Unleashed Festival in 2006 and I was blown away by James’s voice and at how heavy and raw the songs sounded when not on record. I am intrigued to see if their performance intensifies at one of their own gigs as I was truly amazed by the shear weight and size of the sound this Starsailor can create on stage at an open air festival!
