New York Dolls originally swaggered onto the New York music scene in the early ’70s, influencing a generation with their subversive mix of high-decibel rock and high-heeled androgyny. Following the release of their latest critically acclaimed album ‘Cause I Sez So this summer, David Johansen, Sylvain Sylvain, Steve Conte, Brain Delaney and Sami Yaffa are on a tour of the UK and descend on Bristol’s Anson Rooms this Thursday.
