Art Preview - Square Scapes: An Exhibition of Landscapes by Chris Cutts
Showing between Friday 24th July and Wednesday 12th August 2009 @ Photographique, Bristol
This exhibition is wholly made up of images from Chris Cutts’ beloved 30 year old Hasselblad Medium Format camera which produces distinctive square photos (hence ‘Square Scapes’), featuring many photos from the local area.
‘I’m obsessed with shapes and textures within a landscape and how the light falls onto the subject; whether that be a mountain, the ocean or a cityscape. I am looking for something different and interesting within the images I see through the viewfinder.’
